My mother passed away last year. And I remember three years ago, I went to the doctors office with her because she thought that something’s not right. And that doctor, very gentle, very noble, he looked at my mother, “Ms. Washer, you’ve got cancer.” And he goes, “It’s radical, and it’s bad and we’ve gotta move right now if we’re gonna have any chance in saving your life.” I want you to know that man made my mother cry. He hurt my mom. He ruined her day, we were going out to get something to eat. He ruined her week! He tore my mother to pieces! But he tried to save my mother’s life. And if he hadn’t done that, and if he hadn’t been so truthful she’d have no hope of salvation whatsoever, would’ve have no recourse at all and he could’ve been kicked out of his own practice for being immoral.
They ought to kick most pastors out of their practice because out of cowardice and self-preservation they would not preach the Gospel!
That’s all there is to it.
This job is not for cowards.
It may be for wild men and fools but it’s not for cowards.
I’m telling you there’s too much at stake, too much at stake to allow this to happen any longer!
It’d be different if this happened in churches that deny the Deity of Christ or Substitutionary Atonement but this stuff goes on everyday in men’s churches who hold on to this truths, but when they get to the Gospel they seem to lose their minds!
This country is not Gospel hardened, this country is Gospel ignorant because most of the preachers are Gospel ignorant. It’s just the truth.
…That salvation is not merely a change of practice. It’s not turning over a new leaf, it’s not new year resolutions, it’s not a strong conviction to want to become a new person. None of that! Salvation is a supernatural work of God whereby someone really does become a new creature! Really, that’s not poetry!
It’s not poetry!
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

It is true . . . and it is sad and enraging! Instead that souls may be saved we deceive them into thinking that they are saved?! The Gospel is not about praying a prayer and accepting Jesus! That’s not even in the Bible! The Gospel of the Bible is repentance and faith in the Lord Christ Jesus! Repentance from sin having been brought face to face with the depravity of your very being and having been confronted of being a monster of iniquity falling flat on your face before the holiness of God in fear and trembling, crying out, “What must I do to be saved?!” Only then will any man see the wonder and the great majesty of what it means when Paul said, “This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief (1Timothy 1:15).”
It’s about salvation! It’s about men’s souls! It’s about the glory of God above all else!
It grieves me to no end how preachers today think so little of true Christian conversion.
The great majority of professing Christians talk about being born again but they have so little of a conception of what that actually means. They don’t know what they’ve been saved from and they don’t know what they’ve been saved for—at least they don’t know what the Bible says about it, all they have are just little trinkets taken from the newest Christian worship song-fad. In other words, they’ve gotten a hold of just enough Christianity but they don’t believe the Bible. They don’t know have a Biblical concept of sin and they don’t have a Biblical concept of grace. The whole of their Christian life hangs on cliches they heard a pastor preach from an out of context verse and a whole lot of fuzzy-wuzzy Christian songs . . . and not the Bible.

Thats what I have been saying for almost ten years now, people who profess to be christian have no idea what they are saying. They needed to be born again AGAIN !
Misquoting scriptures time and time again straight from the pulpit. People read their bible but they already have a doctrine in their mind what the bible meant, Because of it they can't grasp or understand the bible.
example. Bible said Women are of a weaker vessel and yet the church practice that women are of LESSER Vessel by not letting them become pastors.
Another example Bible said Faith comes by HEARING the Word and yet the pulpit teaches that faith comes by READING the Word of God. What Paul is saying is that when the gospel is preach , faith comes in because we start to understand the Word. Yet the church would stress out reading the scriptures and yet faith is not really growing by doing that. I have to remind people that during the time of Paul the New testament is not written yet and most people that Jesus preach to were uneducated people. Jesus did not read the scripture to the 5,000. He preach to them. Jesus read it only once at the temple.
Its the doctrine in one's mind that blocks what the Holy Spirit is saying. It stunts a person's faith. ANd all of that came from the pulpit. And there are literally thousands of false belief and doctrines flooding the church. Its not God's pure word any longer. ITs doctrinized word.
Women preaching is not merely a doctrinal belief, for one. The Word of God assigns that specific duty to men. Just because a woman can do it just as well or maybe even better, does not mean we can assign who we will to pulpit.
Yes, it is true Jesus did not stand infront of the 5,000 and read out of the Bible. But the Word of God says 'In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and THE WORD WAS GOD.'
So since we don't have the physical manifestation of God anymore, we are to use the Scripture to understand and confirm or disprove what we feel in our hearts. 'lean not on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him and HE WILL DIRECT YOUR PATHS.'
So if one claims Christianity, but has little to no desire to spend time in the Word of God, he is merely going by what his heart is instructing…and how imperfect and wayward our feelings are as humans, it simply cannot be our sole reliant.
